Trips and visits are an integral part of our topics.  When planning topics, teachers look for trips and visits that will inspire learning and build knowledge and understanding.  We use our local community to provide these opportunities as well as looking further afield.

In addition to topic visits, we also offer residential visits in Years 4, 5 and 6.  Year 4 go for one night, Year 5 for two nights and Year 6 for 4 nights (locations for residential trips vary).  We consider these trips to be a very valuable learning experience, including forging friendships, team work, independence and resilience.  Children are encouraged to participate.
